Yes, for many, the Samsung Galaxy S7 was everything they hoped for and more. However, there is always room for improvement, which is where the Samsung Galaxy S8 will hopefully break through.
Samsung's next flagship smartphone is set to be released in the first half of 2017 since the beginning of the year is typically when Samsung rolls out its new flagships. It’s rumoured to cost roughly around £655 – the standard price for new Samsung releases.
While there aren’t any solid facts when it comes to the new Samsung Galaxy handset, we’ve collated and put together the rumours thus far.
So far, it seems like the S8 will feature a 4K screen in 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch sizes, or 5.7 and 6.2-inch sizes, a Snapdragon 830 processor, 6GB of RAM and a massively improved camera (could the camera even get any better!?). There's even talk that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have an iris scanner - that would be cool. While it has been mentioned by some sources that the handset will have a foldable screen, we think this is highly unlikely at this stage.
It has also been reported by some industry that the S8 may make two versions, but both are set to come with curved screens. Whether Samsung releases one or two handsets this year in the Galaxy S range, we believe that it'll feature a dual-lens camera, a 30MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper. in addition, it's rumoured to come with a whopping 4200mAh battery.If you’re excited to see what Samsung will be releasing come March or April, the wait is almost over!
