The wait is over! You can now buy any of the handsets from Huawei’s P9 range including P9 Lite, P9 and P9 Plus. If you’re looking to bag a smartphone with an excellent camera, great display and functionality, the Huawei P9 could be for you. Built with the help of camera experts from Leica, the P9 and its larger sister phone the P9 Plus, are two handsets that pack a real punch when it comes to their cameras.

Huawei P9 Range

If you prefer a larger handset, the Huawei P9 Plus is for you. Both the P9 and P9 Plus come in a sleek aluminium or ceramic design – they’re both every attractive. With curved-edge glass on the front of the device and aerospace-class aluminium on the back, it’s a smooth and stylish handset.  The power button and volume buttons are located on the right side of the device.

The P9 Specs

The P9 is the smaller of the two phones and has a 5.2-inch 1080p screen. Powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 955 2.5GHz 64-bit ARM-based processor, it has varying amounts of RAM. Depending on which version you choose, you can either get 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The 3,000mAh battery inside the P9 keeps the 5-inch phone running for a good length of time.

The P9 Plus Specs

The P9 Plus dons a larger screen at 5.5-inches and comes with ‘Press Touch’ technology. This technology is essentially the same pressure sensitive screen that’s used by Apple. As expected, the phone with the bigger screen comes with a larger 3,400mAh battery, which keeps the large P9 Plus up and running for hours. You can even get 6 hours talk time with just a 10-minute charge. The P9 Plus also has the same processor as the P9, but it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage by default.

The P9 Lite

Of course, the Huawei P9 Lite is a downgrade compared to the P9 and P9 Plus. The most obvious difference is that there's a drop in spec when it comes to the rear camera, which is just a 13MP single-lens, offering with a dual-LED flash. The P9 boasts a 12MP dual-lens camera. The P9 Lite is less powerful than its siblings, with an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 650 processor. But it’s still enough to run Android Marshmallow. The P9 Lite comes in 4G and has 16GB of built-in storage, a micro SD card slot and a fingerprint scanner – affordable with all the features you need.
